CHANGES TO HOW YOU ACCESS YOUR TEST RESULTS
You can access your results by calling the Health Centre. Your test results will only be shared once they’ve been reviewed and actioned by a GP. Please allow the following timeframes before calling for your results:
Blood tests, urine tests, swabs, and sputum tests: Allow 7 working days.
X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and other imaging: Allow 10 working days.
Some results may take longer to process.
Test results are only available from Tuesday to Friday, after 11am.
We are unable to provide results for tests and imaging conducted by the hospital.

URGENT SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS
A doctor assesses all requests for same day appointments based on clinical need. If you think you need a same day appointment/phone call please let us know by 12pm that day if possible.
TESTS ORGANISED BY HOSPITAL DOCTORS
We do not routinely get results of tests requested by hospital doctors. These are sent straight to the consultant who requested them and you should contact the secretary of the consultant/specialist you are under. Results from these tests are usually available at your next hospital appointment.
Our phlebotomists are available to take blood every weekday morning, with a few early afternoon appointments also available. All of the appointments for the blood clinics are pre-bookable by telephoning our reception team on 01248 810818.
Please allow at least five working days before telephoning the surgery for your result. Complex test results may take longer than this to reach the surgery.
Please allow at least seven working days before telephoning the surgery for your result. Some results can take longer than this.
Please phone after 11.00 am for test results. Our receptionists are trained to give you your test results and, where relevant, tell you what further action the Doctor has asked for.
Test results take time to reach us, so please do not ring before you have been asked to do so.
Results will be given to you, the patient. We will not divulge them to third parties without your consent.
